The Child Neurology Foundation has FOUR 2022 summer scholarships available for U.S. and Canadian medical students interested in pursuing a career in pediatric neurology, including the brand-new $5,000 Dr. Kenneth F. Swaiman Medical Student Scholarship.

2022 Dr. Kenneth F. Swaiman Medical Student Scholarship - $5,000

Administered annually beginning in May 2022, the $5,000 summer research scholarship will be given to each of three U.S. or Canadian medical students who have an interest in exploring a career in child neurology. Travel expenses up to $1,000 will be provided to attend the annual Child Neurology Society meeting. The award is open to second- or third-year medical students for a basic or clinical research project in child neurology conducted under the direction of a child neurologist. Deadline to apply is April 11.

2022 Child Neurology Foundation Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD) Summer Research Scholarship - $3,500

The Child Neurology Foundation announces the availability of one summer clinical research scholarship for a first- or second-year US or Canadian medical student who has an interest in training in neurodevelopmental disabilities or child neurology.

The award will be made for clinical research focused in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities in children to be conducted under the direction of a child neurology/NDD subspecialist during the 2022 summer break. Selected applicant will receive $3,500 scholarship to support a research project. Deadline to apply is April 11.
